🎸 Join these guitar teachers earning a full-time income on part-time teaching hours

I’m Alex - This is how I went from $2-3K/month to $10K+ /month teaching guitar 🎸

Without filling my week with 1-1 lessons, hiring other teachers or becoming a full-time content creator.

My guitar teaching felt like a second job - because it was

I was an established guitar teacher with around 10 students while working a part-time job during the day (+ gigs on the weekend)

I was working days and teaching until 8:30pm some nights.

Neither job paid enough on its own and together they just meant I was always busy and exhausted yet still struggling financially.

I was teaching random lessons on Saturdays and asking myself how long I could do this for.

The dream was to make guitar teaching my full-time income.

The reality was I would never get there if I kept doing what I was doing.

The more 1-1 students I got, the more trapped I felt.

At first, I was excited to get new 1-1 students.

But with every new 1-1 student I signed up, I started to see a pattern.

More 1-1 students meant more evenings blocked out which meant less time for everything else.

When I sat down and did the maths, I’d have to work so many hours to come close to 10K/month.

The only way to earn more was to work more - I needed something more scalable.

I tried finding another way to scale

I convinced myself I had to create multiple income streams. I spent over a year ideating and shooting an online guitar course.

But then realised selling it meant either spending big on ads or posting content every single day.

I would go through waves of motivation and despair because views didn’t turn into students.

I tried online lessons, and hiring other guitar teachers but I discovered I could do something much simpler.

I wanted to earn more, on my own, teaching the way I actually enjoyed.

My guitar teaching income was never stable.

Some months I’d have a great run with a full week and no cancellations.

Then the next month two students would cancel last minute. One would go on holidays and other just stopped replying to messages altogether.

I would have gaps in my schedule, taking up time but no ability to fill them up.

I was earning decent money but I desperately wanted to stabilise my guitar teaching income.

I had this low level hum of anxiety sitting in the back of my mind, every time my family wanted to book a holiday or go out for dinner.

I stopped chasing more and started building a full-time income on part-time hours ⏰

I wanted guitar teaching to fund my life, not consume it.

Finally, for the past few years, I am now…

✅ Earning predictable $10K+ months from guitar teaching business

✅ Working only 15-20 hours per week

✅ No longer needing a second job or side hustle to afford a house or provide for a family

✅ Able to take a week or two off to travel with my partner

✅ Finally able to relax and have disposable income to spend on what was important to me

And now when I’m not teaching, I help other private guitar teachers do the same.

A $10K/month teaching business doesn’t require 40 hours of lessons.

It doesn’t require hiring other teachers and managing a big music school.

❌ It doesn’t require building a personal brand and becoming a full-time content creator.

❌ It doesn’t require selling online courses or multiple income streams.

❌ And it doesn’t require a commercial space that cuts your profits in half.

…so what does it require?

The 10K Trio System is built around 3 things:

📈 1. Make more from the hours you already teach

Increase what each teaching hour is worth so you can build towards $10K/month without filling every afternoon and evening with lessons, giving your more time for your hobbies, friends, family and actually having a life outside of teaching.

🧲 2. Attract new students on autopilot

Build a simple, repeatable marketing system that brings new guitar students through the door when you need them - without relying on word of mouth, posting on social media every day, or becoming a marketing expert.

⚙️ 3. Build a business with a predictable monthly income

Put simple systems around payments, cancellations, make-ups and scheduling so your income isn't changing every time a student misses a lesson, and you spend less time dealing with admin outside your teaching hours.

Put those three together and you can build towards $10K/month lifestyle business without needing a packed teaching schedule, employees or an online audience.

❌ Stop working towards this schedule

Build this schedule instead

Here’s exactly how it works:

🎯 The most direct path to $10K months, built around the life you actually want

Instead of filling every afternoon and late evenings with 1-1 lessons to grow your income, build towards $10K/month in fewer focused teaching blocks a week.

📈 1. Make each teaching hour worth more

Stop relying on adding more 1-1 lessons every time you want to grow your income.

Traditional private teaching has a built-in ceiling: one student, one lesson fee, one teaching hour.

The $10K Trio System changes that equation by allowing you to teach 3-4 students within the same teaching hour - even if the students are at mixed skill levels.

And importantly, you don’t need to convert your existing students or overhaul your teaching business to get started.

We identify gaps in your current schedule, add your first trios there and prove the model works for you first.

I know what you’re thinking…

“Won’t the lesson quality drop?”

“How do I teach mixed skill levels in the same group?”

“Managing 3 students will be chaotic"

With a proper trio/group lesson framework, lesson plans and materials that I provide, students at different levels progress at their own pace.

Don’t believe me? Book a call and I’ll run you through my exact teaching framework that makes group teaching simple yet effective!

🧲 2.Get a steady stream of new students, without posting content

New enquiries, every month, without the content grind

How would it feel to get students delivered into your inbox every single month?

That is what is possible with this program.

Everyone tells you to “build a personal brand” and post content.

But you take hours and hours every day to create content for it to result in a couple hundred reviews and a few likes…no new students.

It’s definitely not the quickest path to $10K months. It’s the quickest path to burnout.

The Student Magnet System is different.

I show you how to implement simple, free & low cost marketing strategies - the exact ones I used to build my own guitar school and still use today to keep them coming in.

Unlike posting content, they require very little ongoing work to attract new students!

💰 3. Stabilise and grow your guitar teaching income

Getting to $10K/month means very little if your income drops back to $7K the next month.

That’s why the final part of the system is about making your revenue predictable.

Right now you’re probably dealing with cancellations that mean zero pay.

Or a student who wants to “pause lessons for a month”.

Or a the flu season hits and half your students are out stick and suddenly you’re living off two minute noodles until it passes.

Believe me, I’ve been there!

By putting the same business systems I use in my own guitar school in place, billing scheduling and a firm studio policy, your income stops depending on who shows up that week.

You get paid the same amount every single month. Even if you want a week off. Even if a student wants a week off.

No more chasing payments. No more guessing what you’ll actually take home. Just a number you can plan your life around.

We’ll work at where your business is now, where you’d like to get to, and whether the $10K Trio System could realistically help you bridge that gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

“Do I have to move my existing 1-1 students into trios?

No. I sit down with my clients and start by identifying gaps in their existing schedule and fill those with new trio students.

This lets you prove the model works for you without disrupting your current students or income. Once you’ve done that, you can decide if and how much you want to scale with trios.

“What if I don’t have enough space to teach three students at once?”

You absolutely don’t need a huge commercial studio or dedicated classroom.

Every single one of my clients has used the strategies and my guidance in the program to find a low cost, pay-per-hour teaching space that allows you scale gradually and not pay for time you don’t use the studio.

“How do you teach three students at different skill levels without the lesson becoming chaos?”

You don’t teach a trio like a traditional group class where everyone has to learn the same thing at the same pace.

I’ll show you the multi-level teaching framework I use in my own guitar school, so even students of mixed skill levels can progress at their own pace.

You will receive lesson plans, lesson materials and expert guidance from myself to make sure your students get great results like my own!

“Won’t students or parents prefer private lessons?”

I thought that at first but what I’ve realised with my own students and my clients is that students really only care about the outcome of your lessons.

If students are progressing with their guitar skills and are able to play the songs that they want, they don’t care about the lesson format.

The multi-level lesson framework allows you to teach mixed skill levels, get students completing songs consistently and get great results for your students.

Also, the many student sign ups that my clients get and the reviews that I get for my own guitar group program would suggest that students or parents have absolutely no problem with learning in this format!

“What if I don’t currently have enough students to fill trios?”

You absolutely don’t need a waiting list before you start. And you don’t need three new students before you can start a trio.

Many of my clients fill an open slot with a single student, then to a duo and then to trio and beyond.

Inside the program, I guide you step by step to build a repeatable local marketing system that generates new student enquiries so you fill your trios as quickly as you want.

“Do I need to post on social media or build a personal brand?”

No. You don’t need to become a content creator to build a successful local guitar teaching business.

I focus on simple, repeatable local marketing strategies that get you a consistent stream of great students - without needing to post content every day or build a following online.

“Will this work if I teach from home?”

Of course! A lot of my clients have successfully built out a full schedule in the comfort of their own home.

You don’t need an amazing home studio, just enough space for 2-3 students and a teacher.

And if you have that, it means you have suuuper low business costs, meaning you can scale to the moon!

“Does this only work for kids?”

No. The underlying model isn’t dependent on every student being the same age or ability.

I do recommend teaching ages 8-18 if you want to scale the quickest but the teaching framework is extremely engaging for kids, teens and adults.

My clients focus on teaching kids and teens around the 12 year old age group because they’re more reliable than adults but also have some adult groups that they also love to teach.

“Can this work in a smaller town?”

Yes. In some cases, you might even be at an advantage in a smaller town.

You don’t need thousands of guitar students in your area. You just need enough of the right students to support the size of teaching business you’re trying to build.

That’s something we can look at on the 20-minute call.

“Is the $10K Trio System right for every guitar teacher?”

No. It’s designed for private guitar teachers who have a bit of experience of teaching and want to build a more profitable, predictable teaching business without filling their entire week with 1-1 lessons.

If you’re looking for “passive income”, don’t enjoy teaching or aren’t willing to have an open mind about how you teach or run your business, it probably isn’t the right fit.
